Terms & Conditions – CMA Events Limited

Deposit

A minimum £50 (or 10% whichever is the greater) will book the event. The deposit is non-refundable.

Final Payment

The full balance for the event must be paid 1 month before the event takes place.  Any payment given after this time must be in cash.  If we do not receive full payment before the event date, we will be unable to deliver the goods.

Cancellation

There is a £50 (or 10% whichever is the greater) fee for all bookings cancelled up to one month before the event.  If cancelling within one month of the event full payment is required.

Loss/Damage & Liability

All equipment once installed at the venue is the responsibility of the hirer.  Any damage or loss of equipment/items supplied by CMA Events Limited will be charged for at replacement cost.  All hire items remain the property of CMA Events Limited.  All items are on hire from CMA Events unless otherwise stated on the invoice.  Any loss or damage will be charged for at full current market price plus any extra hire costs and collection charges that CMA Events deems appropriate.  

Installation

We will try to ensure we replicate the customers’ plans/layout for the function room; however it is at CMA Events discretion to alter the look of the room if this is not possible without prior notice.

Delivery

We will only give an approximate delivery time; best attempts will always be made to deliver goods at the stated time. CMA Events will take no responsibility for attending the venue after the delivery time if it is due to circumstances out of our control, i.e. adverse weather conditions, traffic, road closures etc.

Early, Later and Sunday Deliveries

CMA Events Limited reserve the right to charge an extra charge of £10 for all deliveries made before 9am and after 6pm.  All deliveries made on a Sunday may also incur an additional £10 fee for orders below the minimum order set at £250.  There are no Collections – delivery only.

Delivery Charges

There is a minimum delivery charge of £15.00 for all orders.  Please refer to current rates for further details.

Service Charges

If we put out decorations not purchased from CMA Events at the venue, we reserve the right to add a minimum charge of £10, this includes table confetti.  Items will only be put out with prior notice when the Service charge will be agreed.

Return and Collection

Collection of goods will be made by CMA Events with prior arrangement and may incur an extra charge if they are not made available at the agreed time & date.   The charge will be incurred for the period that goods are not available.  Any additional costs incurred by CMA Events Limited in retrieving goods may be charged for.

Acceptance

Paying a deposit confirms acceptance of the above terms and conditions
